Michael is a lifelong entrepreneur who founded GovPilot and spent more than a decade building it into a leading platform for local governments before a successful exit in 2026. He has launched and grown multiple businesses by turning complex, overlooked problems into durable companies. At Ruxlo, he brings that founder-led experience to building The Home Network.
James leads operations and product at Ruxlo with a team-first philosophy shaped by playing Division I lacrosse at Sacred Heart University. He joined GovPilot at inception and spent more than 12 years helping grow it into a platform serving municipalities across 40-plus states, ultimately serving as COO through its successful 2026 exit. A New Jersey homeowner, he is now building the property platform he wishes he had.
Kerolos is Ruxlo’s Chief Technology Officer, leading technology, engineering, and AI strategy. Previously, he was Head of Engineering at Optimal Dynamics, leading the engineering organization through Series A to C as the company raised $100 million. A Carnegie Mellon graduate, his career spans AI, enterprise software, and complex systems across startups and global financial institutions.
John is Ruxlo’s Chief Information and Security Officer, leading information security and IT. Previously, he served as CISO at GovPilot and held IT and security leadership roles at Microsoft, VMware, and Warner Bros. Entertainment. He holds an Executive MBA from Pepperdine, and his 20-plus-year career spans enterprise security, cloud infrastructure, and compliance across startups and global enterprises.
Laura leads Ruxlo’s People function, including talent, total rewards, performance, employee relations, and HR operations. She brings more than 20 years of senior HR leadership, most recently guiding global people and talent strategy across six countries for a leading B2B AdTech firm. Laura earned a B.A. in Social Sciences with a concentration in Labor Studies and holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
